A TOP container terminal executive predicts that uncertainty and slower growth will be the industry norm for the next five years.
APM Terminals chief commercial officer Richard Mitchell told an audience in London:The world has changed.We use the term the new normal to describe that the market in 2010 is here to stay, filled with uncertainty, slower growth and that it tests every company.In the good old days, markets were growing between 10%-15% every year.Now in the new normal markets will grow between zero and 5% for next five years.
