Smith International Gulf Services-Kuwait was established in Kuwait in 2003 as a joint–venture between Smith International Gulf Services – Drilco Group, USA and Al-Rashed Group for Projects Holdings Co., Kuwait.

Smith International Gulf Services – Drilco Group has been providing the Oil & Gas Industry with “best in class” products and services for over twenty years. From the tools offered to the industry back in 1914, with the addition of inspection and machine shop services in 1953 through today, Smith Services – Drilco Group has utilized technology and innovative thinking to meet our customers drilling challenges. This commitment continues, striving to help our customers produce oil and gas more cost effectively while improving rig safety and protecting our environment.

As the drilling industry continues to develop and expand its requirement for equipment capable of deepwater service, horizontal and extended reach drilling, multilateral construction and underbalanced operations, the Smith Services mission is to provide our customers with products and services that deliver “excellence though innovation, value through technology.”

Smith-Kuwait is located at Mina Abdulla Industrial Area, at a fully equipped modern Machine shop of 8,000 m2 area for fabrication of Drilling Tubular Equipment and Tooling accessories, to serve the Oil Industry.
