Shuaiba port is located 54 Kms south of Kuwait City and bounded by the Southern Pier of Ahmadi Port from the North side and by Mina Abdullah from the South side. The port has 20 commercial and container berths, while Oil pier berths operated by KNPC has 4 berths. • Maximum ARRIVAL DRAFT should not Exceed 12.50 M Due to Draft limitations in channel..

Shuwaikh Port Control to be notified on VHF channel 16 about 4 hours prior vessel  Miles to Pilot station.

Pilot Boarding about 1.5 Mile from Entrance.

24 Hours Pilotage available except during shift timing 0600 – 0900 approx every day.

It is important to note that both ports/customs work individual and no interport transportation permitted. i.e. containers discharged in each port has to be cleared with Kuwait Customs Individually.

Note : Vessel must be self sustained on all General Cargo vessels. Port does not have shore crane facility. If shore mobile crane assistance required, same to be arranged well ahead to avoid delays.
